Thursday Morning
Time for oatmeal again! This mornings bowl...wait for it...did NOT contain banana. Shocking I know. Today's oats were based all around the apple!
Zach and I bought this tool called an Apple Master at an orchard several years back and it is a lifesaver for peeling/chopping apples!
You just stick the apple on and start twisting the crank and it peels itself against a blade all while getting cut into ringlets.
Then all you have to do is slice through the ringlets and you automatically have a perfectly diced apple!!
So the pot on the stove started out with the usual measurements:
-1/3 cup rolled oats
-1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1/4 cup water
-pinch of salt
After the oats were cooked and creamy they were introduced to my army of toppings:
Stirred into the hot oats:
-diced apple
-vanilla
-rum extract
-raisins
-1 TBS pb
-ground flax
-cinnamon
-apple pie spice
Topped with:
-coconut flakes
-sweet and salty mix
With a baby spoon of white chocolate wonderful :)
WHAT A BOWL!!
Along with this fantastic breakfast I did 30 minutes on the gazelle.
Have a half day of work today :)
