GRAY DAYS MADE FUN

Tuesday Afternoon

After we got tired of being in the condo we decided to go for a walk on our beach. That's our room up on the very top right corner!!

Once we started getting hungry we headed into town for lunch at Aloha Mixed Plate. They had great happy hour specials so I started with some kind of refreshing cocktail (that I really don't think had any alcohol in it? haha)

And Zach did as well.

For lunch I ordered a mini portion of shoyu chicken with a scoop of rice. Wasn't very hungry really and guess what- this was sadly mediocre!! What is going on with this day? I always love all my food! But today is not cutting it!!

Zach's paniolo burger was decent, but really pretty mediocre as well. Second strike of the day I suppose!

  We knew just what to do on a grayer day- head to Iao Valley State Park!

 Despite it being cloudy we had a lot of fun here!

 View down through the valley of the ocean and towns.

 The main reason people visit Iao Valley is to see the Iao Needle- a tall thin mountain.

 By the end of our visit the sun even started to come back out!

 It became sunny all around, EXCEPT around Iao Needle. Glad we saw it when we did because it became immersed in cloud!!
