BRU BURGER BAR

Saturday Evening


Zach picked us up from the wine festival (Leah's husband Grant had dropped us off) and the three of us headed straight for dinner. We were checking out a restaurant new to us named Bru Burger Bar.
Despite their very tempting array of craft burgers, I figured I had indulged a bit much and should stick with a salad. I ordered the Arugula Lobster Salad: Lobster fritters, chilled lobster salad, citrus vinaigrette, tomato jam and lemon aioli. It was a GREAT salad! The tomato jam was especially good as was the lemon aioli.

Zach on the other hand was not turning down a burger at a burger bar ;) His burger: The End- horseradish havarti, fried egg, caramelized onion, lettuce, tomato and truffle aioli. I of course had to try a few bites!
Leah got some nachos that I also had a few of!
We ended the meal with what Bru is known for- their Peach White Chocolate Bread Pudding! We loooove bread pudding and this one was over-the-top good!

Today was full of good wine, good food and good friends. An ideal Saturday :)
