A TRAIL TO OURSELVES

Wednesday Afternoon

After Pearl Harbor we headed to Kaena Point State Park. There is a remote trail that wraps all around the edge of a cliff and the views there are unparalleled! We stopped at an area at the beginning of the trail for some lunch.

Packed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and the last few crumbs of Pop Chips
With the last Honolulu Cookie Company cookie for dessert
After lunch we took off down our trail in search of adventure!

One of the things I love most about Kaena is that it is not an overly touristy area- it is still unspoiled and we were about the only people on the trail the whole time!

We got pretty hot after a while and we found a nice big tide pool to swim in!

Another successful afternoon of exploring :)
