DON'T GET SO WRAPPED UP...OR DO!

Monday Evening

"Let us live so that when we come to die, even the undertaker will be sorry." Mark Twain

After such a big ZWOW this afternoon (and always limited for time on Mondays) I tried to keep tonight's gym visit brief. Did a leg machine, arm machine, ab machine and back machine followed by 30 minutes on the treadmill. Ran a mile and then climbed the rest of the time at a 15 incline (367 calories burned)

Didn't weigh in tonight! Didn't want to see that water weight gain from a couple days of *ahem* less than clean eating :) Hopefully by tomorrow most of it will be shed!

Now the next two weeks I am planning on having a few organized meals with recipes, but it will be a lot of odd/somewhat boring meals for the most part because we are trying to eat up the fridge before Hawaii!

Tonight: Most amazing wrap :) I heated up some TJ's valencia PB on a La Tortilla Factory wrap. Layered on two small bananas, cinnamon, honey, raisins and a tiny bit of Crofter's North American super fruit spread.

What a combination!!
There were a few banana pieces left to eat on the side

We are off to Bible Study!

By the way, still LOVING Born to Run. Here's a cut excerpt that made a lot of sense to me speaking of the American approach to running:
"It was too artificial and grabby... too much about getting stuff and getting it now: medals, Nike deals, a cute butt. It wasn't art; it was business, a hard-nosed quid pro quo. No wonder so many people hated running; if you thought it was only a means to an end - an investment in becoming faster, skinnier, richer-then why stick with it if you weren't getting enough quo for your quid? It wasn't always like that and when it wasn't - we were awesome. ... The guys in the '70's didn't know enough to worry about "pronation" and "supination", that fancy running store jargon hadn't even been invented yet. ...They were so ignorant they didn't even realize they were supposed to be burned out, overtrained and injured. Instead they were fast, REALLY fast." Born to Run
