ETHNICITY

Thursday Evening

Zach and I to continue our lazy day got the movie Pearl Harbor to watch! We figured it was only appropriate after visiting there yesterday, so we cuddled up and enjoyed watching a movie neither of us had seen in years!

Got ready for dinner....
And headed to Keo's- the number one Thai restaurant on Oahu! We started out with the summer rolls which came with a fabulous dipping sauce.
I had a fruity and refreshing lava flow.
For dinner we shared the Evil Jungle Prince (a spicy veggie and tofu dish!): combines fresh basil, coconut milk and red chili served on a bed of hot cabbage and the massuman curry.

BOTH delicious! We love us some Thai food :)
We contemplated getting a dessert but then remembered we had one local place yet to hit up that we were really wanting to try. Off we went to...Bubbie's! This place was definitely off the beaten path and back in a *ahem* shadier neighborhood. Totally packed with locals inside though which means it is a good find!

We saw tons of good-looking stuff with interesting names, but we were after one thing: mochi ice cream. Mochi is a non-sticky rice paste stuff and these are only about 2-3 bite sized. They are adorable and Bubbie's is known for them so we got a variety pack of six: chocolate peanut butter, strawberry dark choco chip, chocolate and vanilla, root beer, passion fruit, and mango.

Think they were good? Nope. THEY WERE AWESOME! The first couple of bites we thought "hmm....strange" and then we were sold. So unique, so good.
