A GOOD DAY'S CLOSE

Saturday Evening

We tried to visit Brown County winery but got there too late, so our last stop on the way home was Simmons winery.

We did a tasting here and decided to grab a bite of food. They had recently built a brewery/restaurant onto Simmons and we wandered in there to share an appetizer. Zach got a beer sampler of which I tried a bit but wasn't crazy about.
We ordered the garlic knots to share. We didn't want a whole lot of food because we were planning on getting a late dinner back in Muncie but just wanted a little bite.
Well little is what we got! These garlic knots were good, but there were literally only 5 of the tiny things! Which meant we each ate 2 1/2...not much of a snack!

We drove behind a bush for awhile on the way home...
When we got back we ate at Puerta. Had chips and cheese dip to share and I got an enchilada + taco. We weren't getting anymore drinks and then a table (that had apparently been there a LONG time) brought us an entirely full pitcher of margaritas and gave it to us for free because they didn't want anymore to drink. (We had just seen them bring out the pitcher, so it wasn't shady or anything.)

Well after a glass, even though it was free, we were both done drinking. We just didn't want anything else to drink besides water or it would have been at that point of TOO MUCH to drink. But we appreciated the gift, still nice not to have to pay for it :)
