LEWIS AND CLARK

Sunday Afternoon

When we left the hotel this morning it was raining. Not super hard, but still a really steady drizzle. We had hiking plans for the day and said "Well, what should we do?" Of course there was only one answer... GO HIKING!

 We were doing the Clark Trail at the Weldon Springs conservation area. It was supposed to take 3 hours. Guess who did it in less than 2? These guys :)

 We had some gorgeous views from our trail.

 We never got rained on and even got a bit of blue skies!

 After our FIVE mile hike, it was time to hit up wineries! First up Montelle...

 Lovely views...

 Next was Sugar Creek winery.

 In vino veritas... In wine there is truth. :)

 Lastly was Chandler Hill Vineyards.

 We ate lunch outside on their beautiful deck.

 We split a club sandwich with coleslaw...

 And had a cheese/sausage plate. Though we didn't come close to finishing this!

 Also had part of a bottle of sparkling red wine. Such a fun afternoon!!!
